An environmental risk that may cause some concern is Hazardous Material disposal of old Lamps and Ballasts.  Fluorescent bulbs contain mercury and lead, ballasts can use either phenols or PCBs as an insulator.  All of these materials have been identified as potentially hazardous materials when separated from their assemblies.  Recycling eliminates the release of these chemicals into our environment.

We address this by offering to handle the proper recycling of old materials.  This is vital to the customer and Energy Tech 21 due to the possibility of PCBs in old Ballasts and Mercury inside of lamps.
